All church volunteer needs in one place

~ Introduction ~

This portal is your “one-stop' for current volunteer needs at Kirby Woods Baptist Church and taking action to serve. We asked leaders, “How many volunteers are currently serving, and how many more do you need to operate at peak performance?” The difference gives us a figure of volunteers needed to reach full capacity. An incredible opportunity for all church needs to be met!

Before considering your needs and potential service, here are a few important things to keep in mind:

  • What is your spiritual gift, and how has God prepared you? The church works best when each part does its created role (fingers are fingers, ears are ears, etc).

  • Are you already serving somewhere else at Kirby Woods? Our goal is to avoid having a small group of people doing most of the ministry.

  • Are you a member of Kirby Woods? Most of our volunteer service areas require membership, but we would love for you to consider joining us!

  • What does the church need most? Below, volunteer areas are ranked by need, not importance. The most underserved and help-needed areas are listed first.

  1. Children’s Ministry Total Needs: 13 Volunteers

    • Breakdown

      • Sunday School Needs (9:00 am, weekly): 5 Volunteers

      • Worship Hour (10:30 am, rotation): 4 Volunteers

      • TableTalk Hour (5:00 pm, rotation): 4 Volunteers (3 male, 1 female)

  2. Safety Team Total Needs (rotation): 7 Volunteers

  3. Greeting Team Total Needs (rotation): 7 Volunteers

  4. Sunday Coffee Bar Total Needs (rotation): 3 Volunteers

*Medium Priority*

  1. Church Office Front Desk, Basic Secretarial Work (weekly) = 2 Volunteers

  2. ESL Ministry Total Needs (weekly) = 3 Volunteers
