 WHY DO WE GO?

At Kirby Woods, we want to be a church that has seeks Kingdom Impact. Jesus Christ is King, and our labors in this world should contribute to the expanse of His Kingdom. Therefore we are committed to evangelism, discipleship, missions, and seeing Christ glorified in all the earth.

“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’” - Matthew 28:18-20

The following are statements from church members on why going on a mission trip has been impactful in their lives:

"I knew of the term 'TCK' (third-culture kid) before my mission trip to Switzerland, but I was blessed to experience some of its impacts at Euroventure. Over a hundred kids, representing about thirty countries, all converged upon the camp site in a great one-week exchange of knowledge and experience. Through this unique opportunity, the Holy Spirit worked in their lives to share more of Himself and what He has for them. The need for ministry was evident.
